Centennial Valley Road

I'm headed to Henry's lake this Summer and wondered if the Centennial Rd. is paved nowadays? I'll be coming from the Bitterroot-Big Hole-Dillon route and thought about using it instead of going up to Virginia City. I drove it 40 years ago and it was gravel then. Thanks.!

As of four years ago, no... I drove the full length of it.

As of a few days ago, still rutted gravel. From Alder, MT to just south of Ruby Reservoir the Ruby Valley RD is paved. It is slightly oiled up to the NF boundary but rutted gravel from there to Centennial Divide. Over the divide the road is usually in pretty poor shape down to the valley as the winter snow load is pretty high. But once in the Centennial Valley the road is rutted gravel again. Still a beautiful drive.
