A day hike, about an hour from home.
Both Balsam Root and Mules Ears, Balsam at lower elevation than the Mules Ears, both were in this meadow/rock outcrop.

I wish I could insert a 23 second video I filmed. Behind the clouds lightning was flashing almost non-stop from the east to south. When the "flatish" cloud finally got to our place, the wind became ferocious so I went inside. Wind gusts topped 70 mph, trees and utility lines down. @Billy can share a picture from his place. Luckily for us; no damage, no power loss. Wild evening.
