Went grouse hunting for a few hours. Walked a lot of logging roads to no avail. No grouse seen. It was nice to get out there though. Hopefully better luck next time.

Shaped by nature or ancient peoples? It's dished out on both sides with a pass thru hole in the middle, I've found many over the years scooped out on one side only, never one like this. Found it about 2' deep two stepping down a run amongst a bazillion other ordinary rocks. It's not clay I would estimate it weighs 15-20 lbs . Got a couple cutty's and a smallish dolly swinging a little pine squirrel streamer.
