Casting instruction

I feel pretty good with my casting but would like to take a class to realize my potential and get some critique. Doesn’t anyone offer classes in the Vancouver/Portland area that is done on grass? I am hard of hearing and think the communication aspect would be easier than over a loud running river.

I also have a buddy that's FFI certified in both spey and single hand casting instruction (charges the standard $60/lesson). I've had several from him (because I suck) and he's excellent. His place is in Nehalem but he may be agreeable to meeting elsewhere.

He's obsessed about fly fishing and fishes all over the world. He also used to own Ascension Bay Fly Fishing Lodge in Mexico. I can provide his contact info if anyone is interested.

Evan's guy might be a little more convenient for the Portland/Vancouver folks.
