Just an FYI tidbit. There was an orphan Bison (named Harvey Wallbanger) raised by a guy who later raced him, riding against Quarter horses. He won I think 71 out of 93 races. In spite of their short legs they are fast, particularly off the starting line. So there’s no outrunning one.

Whe I was a kid you could do shit like put on a bison costume and chase tourists...but we' were smart enough not to do it.



Bison have really stepped up lately, while the grizz have been held in check.

I think they're just tired of idiot tourons. The big bruisers are sure accurate with the horns.

A friend had a pet Bison bull named Bob (big ol' bastrich). Tame as could be. My friend (another Bob) would sit on a bucket & bigger Bob would gently go forehead to forehead with him.
