Yes! I caught a bunch today as well. A little yellow soft hackle worked. As did a little rust colored leach. The perch were taking turns with the bluegill, seeking out my fly.

Cool…way to go Mike! And on top water already!? Most of my popper fishing for spiny rays happen in late summer when the trout sink down into the mud to stay cool….and kudos for catching them on your Hotrod!!
