They were rampant east of Edmonton at a wildlife reserve along the shore.

I'm glad to know their names! As much as I enjoy seeing and photographing them, I haven't taken the time to figure out what they are...thanks! Do you know what the yellow one is?

It's definitely one of the sulphur butterfly species. It's a little hard to tell without seeing the topside - but there does look to be some black edging so I would go with clouded sulphur.

I think I might have one topside shot. Of one that was stuck on the water, I’ll check. Thanks!
