Maybe just a bit at the tail base, but not enough to make me care or really notice.

I saw a similar method, however the mono was not pulled over the bunny strip. The mono was just poked through the fur. The end was melted, then pulled against the skin. The mono on the underside was tied onto the hook. I have not tried it so I don’t know how well it works.
