I'm fine with people killing as many non-native, invasive, and voracious bull frogs as they care to!

Tie ya up some red yarn trebles (big ones) and toss em on the pads. Sight froggin’ is a hoot!!!
Them suckers pull pretty good too.

Never thought about that! Bullfrogs on a 2 or 3wt would be a lot of fun!

They’d snap that like a twig, especially in the pads.

There are bullfrogs and there are BULLFROGS. Some get to about 8" in body length. More than a 3 weight rod. could handle. Trust me on that...

Had a childhood buddy who grew up down by Pipe Lake he had all kinds of stories about gigging bullfrogs out of a canoe..

I've often thought that the invasive species should be targeted with fishing and hunting. I've never thought about fly fishing for bull frogs though. I don't think I could stomach the screaming when hooked, as others have mentioned.

A small nearby detention pond. I often practice casting to them. Good way to hone skills.
