BRRR! 49 seems damned chilly after 3 days of 99/100 last week...

One day recently I thought I felt a bit chilly in the house. I went and checked the thermostat and note that the indoor temperature was 74 degrees. If it read that in the winter I would have been sweating hot. Funny how we habituate to temperature, both warm and cool.
 
I’m loving the change in the weather around Everett this week. I’m watching the weather at the ranch and want to head up soon, it’s been really hot. Grouse opens the 15th…
 
Just think, a high of 49 would be looked forward to as well as welcomed this winter...
