I will never tire of catching chunky bluegill on a warm summer evening with a light rod and poppers or dries. It is, to me, as wonderful a way to spend time as anything else I do holding a rod.
Getting a buddy out on the water for the first time in a while, setting sun painting the sky, wind calmed down, eagles/osprey/red-wing blackbirds/kingfishers/bullfrogs all providing the soundtrack, beer in the float tube koozie... truly outstanding.
