It's a good time to revisit your personal online security....use of VPN, complex password generator such as LastPass, clear your browsing cookies and history daily, etc. Also review how your assets are held. If cash, FDIC all the way so the financial institution owns the loss in a hack, not you. AI encryption breakers make Bitcoin wallets prime targets, and AI generated hyper-speed stock trades are now moving faster than regulators/built in 'circuit breakers' can monitor and protect against, one fear being a massive stock valuation melt-down at some point.
Meanwhile, AI companies are spending hundreds of millions on the current election to fund AI friendly politicians who will vote against stringent state regulations, the over arching goal to keep AI regulation federally governed which AI companies know they can dilute with their current influence.
Whereas the non-stop onslaught of digital hyperbole runs rampant about most things, the inherent threat of AI is an exception.
