Was told bad winter kill. Hardest winter in 30 yrs here. Fished shore line, zip. Nobody on lk ? Odd, today I'll get on water. Seen no fish in shallows like last may. But nice weather and 20 opens Wednesday Yes.

There are fish there. Only a partial kill because of aerator. Other lakes in area worse....

I'm giving it a 10, fish are less and smaller this spring but no crowd, weather good and fish caught. I still haven't used my new rod, the sage I've had sense 96 hardly used. Great rod in the tube. Fly clubs there this and next weekend FYI.

I remember a year ago. Big fish, bigger crowds. Passing through, I saw the "logboom" and opted for LT to chase elusive 15'ers. Had to myself and had a blast for a couple hours.
