Beverly Fire

My friend Dan who, until yesterday, lived in Schwana, is homeless now. He's a recent widower and now homeless. 76 or 77 years old, man, my heart goes out to him.
So sorry to hear, Buzzy. It's not just losing your home, it's losing a lifetime of memories in all those cabinets and boxes. Starting over at that age with just what was packed into a vehicle is one heavy lift.

It's going to be a tough next two months of fire season I fear.

Unfortunately true, that.

Daughter's in laws had to evac to her house Thursday night. An escape to my place would have been next had that been required. The Locust Grove Fire got to within a mile of her place. We are blessed with outstanding fire first reponders in the Tri Cities and the surrounding counties & towns. They stopped this fire quickly in spite of the wind.
