Last week I drove up to a new lake for me near 100 Mile House (which doesn't reveal anything, as there are hundreds of lakes in that area, for anyone concerned about hotspotting).

The fishing was surprisingly tough, as I only landed 4 fish in two days of fishing, but they were nice fish (here are two that were retained):

The stomachs were filled with daphnia, which might explain the tough fishing.
The camping areas were packed, mostly with moose hunters. Reminder to myself to check on moose hunting seasons before heading up there next time. The campers next to me got a moose, so it was interesting watching how they skinned and butchered it:

I'm not a hunter, so I don't know how much this moose weighed, but the guy who got it said that it was probably around 1,000 pounds. That's a lot of meat!
