Your old angler number is not going to help. First thing you need to do is register for a BCeID. You can do this even though you are not a resident. That was the part that was hanging me up. There is a blank for a WILD ID # when registering but leave it blank and one will be assigned to you. After that you can purchase your license.

Yeah, I discovered that my old BC angler number is now irrelevant. Took me several tries, but finally got my BCeID number that I needed for my Dean application.

Really?? A 14 word password just to start the process of purchasing a fishing license!!
