BC Fishing Regulation Changes

Many of you regularly fish BC lakes also. For your awareness BC has proposed changes to regulations for many lakes that have historically been managed as trophy, flyfish, or non-bait fisheries. There are a lot of well known lakes on the list including Peter Hope, Stoney/Minnie, Hatheume, and Hihium. Also less known lakes from the Meadow Lake chain and Rock Island chain that I care about. Most of the proposed changes remove bait / ice fishing bans and increase quotas to match the regional standard. Sharing so that others have a chance to provide comment before closing dates (some have already passed).

The public is invited to comment on proposed angling regulations in British Columbia.
