From what was announced today it sounds like Root Sports is replaced with Mariners.TV which will offer streaming and will be carried on cable providers like XFinity (pending negotiations). On the surface it appears very similar to last year.
 
Steelheads: Mythical fish believed to once inhabit portions of the Pacific Northwest and highly sought after by rabid anglers. Demise attributed to humans, (see Dodo Bird).

If for some odd reason you ever wake up one morning in Kansas City and you are a baseball fan, do yourself a huge favor and visit the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum. The late, great Buck O'Neil and now Bob Kendrick have made this a must see.

Those amazing young Royals played their first Grapefruit league game today (win). While these are meaningless games, it was good to listen to a game.
