Bamboo Fling 2026?

I'm in for it. Pick a day and I will try my best to be there. Hopefully I will have my 135-year-old Hardy rod rewrapped.

May 9th will work for me! The 2nd is one of my Mayfly Project outings. Sundays open it up for me, other than the 2nd Sunday of the month. Hope I can make it!

Any NorCal members interested in doing something similar closer to Sac? Maybe make it a weekend on the river? Upper Sac, McCloud, or something south of there like the Carson?

Good point mike. I can do may 2 or 3. Sundays are actually a little better for me than Saturdays.

I think it's time to bring this to the top again. The date is Sunday May 3rd, 10am till 2pm roughly time wise. The location is Cascade View Park Redmond Wa. Here is the address,

16202 NE 40th St, Redmond, WA 98052

I hope to see many of you there again this year. I'll be bringing about 9 rods rigged for test casting for anyone who is or has an interest or curiosity about bamboo fly rods. No pressure to buy at all, just a chance to cast some different tapers to see what type of taper you may like sometime in the future. There should be many other rods to test cast and plant the seed of a different kind of fly-fishing experience. I will warn you it's a slippery slope if you get too close:ROFLMAO:, ask me I know.

Mike

I'll be in Roslyn on the 2nd and probably staying overnight, but get uo early and may just head over! Cheers if i can't make it! Tight lines!

Count me in. I'll bring along some of bamboo rods I just purchased from Tom Fulk's estate.
