Back Again In Heaven

I look forward to this trip every year…and it never disappoints. Part of the river change every time I come, more trees and logjams in different places, or the river digs a new channel and creates different braids…

While I caught quite a few on a dry/dropper and my go to leech/soft hackle tandem, the best fish were swung up on streamers…in particular two I had tied for this trip…a black & brown marabou with a touch of SLF red gill near the copper bead, the other was my “swing” meat whistle with sculpin olive squirrel zonker, pearl sparkle braid, some sili legs & flashabou, slf red gill…these two streamers accounted for at least twenty fish. Put about 50 in the net, countless ldr over 3.5 days…
