Awesome Dogs of PNW

This guy/girl looks like one hell of a dog, Pit bull? one granddaughter has one. Friendliest dog in the world.

Welcome you semi old man. About time you showed up was wondering if you were still around. I kind of miss our morning rides to the Skagit.

My shakes are getting worse. My typing really sucks today. Three little sentences, and it took me over five minutes to type this bullshit

Can't you get an upgrade for that Jim? Like using google microphone?

I’ve posted pics of our Toller (Rio) and our Golden (Rose, one of Gary’s) in the past, and likely will again sometime. I occasionally remember a dog story from the mid 60s and thought I’d share it. I’m sure some of you have a similar remembrance.
I was 14 or so when I got “farmed out” to my uncle Phil, who had a few acres SE of Kent. He had several projects and needed unskilled labor. They had a female German Shepherd (Mina) that was friendly but extremely timid. Somewhere nearby was a large male Lab mix (don’t remember his name but I’ll use Rocky). Rocky and Mina were best friends and often hung out together during the day, and often with me painting or weeding. One day it was just Mina and I working out near the frontage road, and a pack of dogs started fiercely attacking her. I was scared frozen. Out of nowhere came Rocky at full F’n speed. He hit that dog pack hard and knocked them 10 feet like bowling pins. Absolutely fearless, he chewed some ass till they scattered away yelping. Fifty some years later and I’m still impressed with a dogs loyalty.
I’m confident many of you have similar stories. We absolutely love the dogs we have now, but when our girls were young we had a Shepherd Labrador mix, Cisco. Incredibly smart, loyal and so protective. Twenty years later and we still recount stories, missing him. We’re all so lucky to have our dogs.

Hey friends, I had waited a long time to be part of the other forum's Awesome Dogs thread. Finally, am posting here with my new pup, Cedar.
She's just 3 months but already fishy! We are looking forward to many fine days on the water with her. She is not one of Gary's dogs but she will need a sib so am hoping that my next one will be from Gary. Cheers!
