Homemade system. Works great if you just pay a little attention while loading.
I’m working on better pics and will have videos available. It just started raining and 39 degrees but I wanted to get this out there.

Includes:
Yakima Overhaul, bars and very importantly the side supports.
Winch wired with Anderson connectors
Rollers

Does not include the tonneau cover. The rack can be mounted directly to rails of your truck.

$900

Yes indeed! Just hit the extend button on the remote.
Loosen the orange straps on the back. I mark where they should be set. Pull back on the boat to get to or near the balance point. Not hard mine slides easily and I’m 71. Then use the remote and it drops right down. Can be stopped at any time.
It’s not as foolproof as the commercial ones that have a roller and two ropes. What that means is you might need to center it a little to get it on the back rollers but that’s a no effort one hand job.
The commercial ones are well over $3000. It’s worked for me.
I’m probably getting a topper so I need to rethink my system. Unfortunately that probably means spending out the ..,,, for a commercial one.

You see them used for about half of what you said. Keep your eyes peeled.

Oh I have! They RARELY pop up! Maybe a beat up old Edie with a broken drill winch, but even those are rare.

Nice setup! I have wondered about attempting to design and build one for a topper, but then get distracted by fishing. 😁

I notice the Load My Boat website is no longer working. Not sure if the Loadit.com company is the same or not. Both out of BC.
And yes, they are spendy. Hope you find something that works!
