Are fajitas the official food of fishing trips?

They gotta be at the top no? I mean, what else can compete with some meat, veggies and other shit stuffed into a wrap?

And tonight I had the pleasure to experience fajitas at Chili’s in Helena, MT. World class cuisine.

So good.
My wife does better. the plate's aren't as fancy tho...
...and her enchiladas are to die for!
You need to go back and swipe that serving ware a few times.

I generally eat what I kill with the truck on the road. It's the only way gas pencils for a fishing trip. You really gotta be talented on a motorcycle. The key is small game and getting the front wheel up on big game. But yes pigeon and grouse fajitas. Yes.

Are you back from BC? Report (elsewhere as I'm drifting Swimmy's thread). Oh yeah - tell us your wife's secret to her "to die for" enchiladas.

Report coming tomorrow. Recipe will go with her to the grave.

Ah, one of those secret recipes! I make pretty darn good chicken enchiladas but there's something not quite right (probably to store bought spices in little bottles).

I made some damn good enchiladas tonight. But then again I’m in Mexico, and bought all the ingredients from the market by the bridge with. Sweet potato, black bean, fresh cheese, tortillas that were made this morning and and smothered in mole.

And ate here.

you don't cook your own? I'm a little disappointed...

THIS is the food of our fishing trips:

it's usually wings of some sort...

This isn't from a "fishing" trip, but you get the idea:

Pro tip on chicken. Become a thigh man. Breasts are way way overrated in the world of chicken.
let me introduce you to my little friend....the sous vide.

srsly, fail safe!

I'll probably have more pics available by Monday....just sayin'

I was a big chicken man most of my life, but the last few years find myself gravitating towards beef more and more.

These days when I make fajitas at home, or order them when out, I almost always go beef.

It's funny, one look at me and it's obvious I have a fondness for food, but when it comes to fishing I've never been one who can be bothered with it. I almost never eat on the water, and after I just tend to keep it simple.

Tuna sandwiches are probably my official food of fishing trips.
