Anyone using the Cortland Seek lines?

I needed a new Type 5 sinking line for my lighter series of reels so I ordered a new Seek without knowing much about it. The claim is that it has a fast sinking belly and a slow sinking tip which seemingly would result in an undulating line as the fly is retrieved. I am intrigued by this as I realized over 40 years ago that if I kicked my float tube in S turns instead of a straight line fish would often take on the turn as the as the fly rose on the outside turns and sank on inside turns. The Seek lines seems to rise and fall depending on the speed of the retrieve but I won't know until next season if it is effective or not.

Does anyone have experience with this line yet and can tell me what to expect?

I've got a type 5 in a 5/6 wt. Gives you the ability to fish a "washing line technique" with just one fly. I still start out with an intermediate......

FWIW, Scientific Anglers recently made/offered a cheaper alternative VS buying a complete sinking line. Their "Boobie Tips" were double-looped 5-foot sections of a floating line one could attack, w/ a loop-to-loop connection, to one's sinking line. I have several that I've found to be very useful. Appears they're still available online from some fly shops.
