Anyone tossed Vision rods for Pike and have opinions?

I ran into a 10' foot version of the "hero" when I was on a Pike trip overseas and liked it quite a bit, though the 9' footer agreed with me more. Has anyone here used them and have opinions to share? I'm conscious that I'm probably susceptible to the "story" and branding, but am considering the 9 wt Pike Maniac.

Is this a a Finnish or Norwegian company. Name is familiars but thinking Scandi company?
