Any Pass Lake locals/Gurus want to fish Monday or Tuesday?

I'll be staying at Deception Pass with my family and never been to the area - but happy to buy lunch or trade info some waters closers to central/northern WA. I can bring an inflatable 2 person kayak.

Definitely not a guru on pass since I only started hitting it this year and I also have to work, but I might be able to break out my drift boat in the evening. Otherwise feel free to shoot a DM and I can share what little I know 😅

There’s an otter that hangs out under the fishing pier at Miller Sylvania state park that loves to steal fish of the lines of the surprised fisherman. Makes for some real entertainment..

Worth noting for anyone heading to Pass:

Summer traffic around Deception Pass bridge is HEAVY right now and causing some amount of stop/go slowdowns from a few miles before Pass through to the Whidbey side of the bridge.

In addition, construction of a new roundabout at the Hwy 20 + Campbell Lk Rd intersection has started. They don't seem to be blocking much traffic at the moment. But it's a big project and will cause delays off/on for the next 9-12 months. Looks like it'll be down to one-lane for a few weeks starting soon:

Beginning at 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 17, SR 20 will be reduced to a single lane near Campbell Lake Road. A temporary signal will alternate traffic through the three-way intersection until 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4. People should expect delays during this lane reduction.

Josh, well played. Beats the algae signs I used to put out there 😜
