I don't like any of 'em - except for Miracle Whip. Visited friends in Bonners Ferry area about 5 years ago - it's awesome country. Some good fishing I'm told, including flyfishing in the Kootenay/tribs and lakes that I didn't have time to sample. They like it because the area hasn't been 'discovered' by the Tourons (yet). Sounds like the kinda place you'd enjoy Roper - I hope you get a chance to check it out.

I get it. It's just not how we want to run things here. We think people should be able to state opinions and have discussions without it spiraling out of control, and for the most part, we've been able to do that. We'd rather keep peoples' reactions under control than police what opinions can be stated in a benign manner.

Whether someone says they like or dislike Inslee, Biden, Trump, Justin Bieber, or Miracle Whip... we would hope the vast majority of us can say "fair enough" and move on without reading it as an attack on them.

‘Greater Idaho’ movement to absorb rural counties from Oregon gains momentum

The Idaho legislature is pushing a bill to open talks about moving the border between western states.

The likelihood of a political movement from a vocal minority carving up a state is pretty unlikely, and it would set a prescedent that would generate endless border divisions throught the US. And with over 50% of the land in Harney County located hard up against the Idaho border being owned by the Feds, they are a player in this as well.
As it is, local politics tend to have much more of an impact on personal quality of life than state politics do.

Miracle Whip would be a fine topic, just as long as it is understood it is not to be put on bacon!!

@Roper, good luck with your search, hope you're able to find what you are looking for. We too might be in search of some land, but it would be in central NY state, wouldn't mind in Idaho, but the drive back and forth would be a ....

What , miracle whip goes on any sandwich, that includes BLT’s . Mayonnaise is a no no on any sandwich.

Back to Idaho . My family on both sides are all from Idaho . I’d live in most places in Idaho .
