Another May 17 SWAP thread - Your wants and haves (gear)

I’ll have this fishpond hand net ($50) and this brand new, unused whiting bronze dark barred ginger saddle ($50) if anyone’s interested. I have some other nice reels but they’re not particularly good deals because I’m trying to fund something I really don’t need ;)

What is it you don't need? I've got a lot of stuff I don't need, and maybe what you don't need is something I don't need?
 
I also am looking for a couple fiberglass rods.... like 8' 15-20lb rated or so casting fiberglass rods. But I doubt anyone coming has such things laying around.

soooo, start with a custom ordered Steffen graphite 7wt?

that's actually probably next on my list....lol
 
I plan to come out and spend most of the day Saturday at the lake. Looking forward to meeting up and wetting a line at some point.

Want:
  • Reel for a 4wt fiberglass rod, something like a Battenkill II
  • Moderate-fast/fast 9ft 5wt rod for a buddy, budget up to couple hundred $$
  • MH baitcasting rod+reel, shorter the better
Have:
  • Several ugly stiks, ultralight up to surf spinning rods
  • Outcast backpack fins
  • Fishing-related books
