Had a fun CO extra long weekend trip to Sunriver for an extended family get together. I managed to fish most days. First day, a friend took me to a Cascade lake that held some pretty nice fish. We both caught, lost and broke off some very nice trout (sorry no great pics there). Each of the other couple of mornings I snuck out for several hours to a close-by spring creek, the second of which got my brother to dust off his fly rod that hadn't been used in who knows how long. Fish were caught both mornings. Today, we drove home. I stopped by another spring creek in hopes of larger predators for about an hour....no one wanted to play.
