Another bada** fishing rig

Inspired by the previous trailer post. As a fishing rig, due to being a generally anxious and paranoid person, I prefer a small footprint camper where I can go directly from sleeping area to driver seat and move the vehicle to a safer location in the shortest time possible. If $$ weren't a concern (alas, it is...), I'd be buying this rig tomorrow:

We saw one of these Maltec conversion from Germany in Costa Rica last year, not quite as nice as the linked version above but very sweet nonetheless. Looks like some Montanans were having a very cool road trip.

I'll likely end up with a Sprinter glamper like every other vanlife poseur sometime in the next few years as my wonderful partner has a different view on what's comfortable on road trips.

Man, I love the Land Cruiser. Especially the older ones Toyota made. Never seen the those conversions before. That’s cool. Still would rather have a straight out mid 80s Land Cruiser though..

Same. There's a shop I drive by a lot, TorFab, that specializes in FJ60's, 62's, and 80 series. They always have nice rigs there that they're working on. I've been dreaming of a redone LS swapped 60 for a long time but it's just too much $$$ for me to do something like that.

I would expect more for the $300K ask price. No auto fire gun turrets?

Yeah, if one were thinking about spending $300K on a dinky little Landcruiser, they might as well sack up and go all in on a $1M++ real fishing rig (but still no gun turrets...):
