Anglophile Style

Put a little extra twist on my fishing this morning to spice things up. The MG sure loves the heat.

And since it's an English theme, english boo and line holder. This one is of the type that loads more near the handle, not so much from the tip down. So easy to fish.

Of course what would be more appropriate than a Partridge and Orange softhackle. I did pinch that barb.

I had a convertible VW bug that I used to hunt upland birds out of. It was pretty handy to be able to just reach into the open back seat to grab my shotgun.

I had an MG B for a few years. It was like having a terrible girlfriend. The sex was great (driving/top down/etc.), but she treated me so bad (needed repair every 400 miles).
If you throw in a V8 some of these little sports cars can appreciate:
This has a little 1.1L from a '65, nice and reliable, safety fast. Made the whole thing right before I painted it so I could run around with the grandkids. 30+ city, 40+ mpg open road.
