Algae at the Giant Cataract lake

I can see the bottom of the lake in the bay closest to the observatory so there's some visibility. I wonder how the anglers (four by my count) were doing.

I fished a nearby lake this morning and think I might have won a "small fish" derby with @Irafly; a SMALL smallmouth ate a size 16 hares ear; the fly looked huge in that 4 cm long bass.
