Wish I could have watched that. Sounds like it was a brilliant tactical decision by Faulkner that allowed her to get away near the end. Her pursuers were not even in sight when she crossed the finish line. Another great story among many that come out of the Olympics.
Watched the last hour, her breakaway with 2K(?) left was incredible; she just pulled away like the others were standing still.

I happened to watch that as well. Amazing to see and pretty incredible how she got into the sport and has only been doing it for about 7 years.
Where did you find that. I was able to see the last 6 plus minutes but that was all it took to give me chills. What a ride.
We’re following Olympics on NBC, USA channel 105 on DishTV and Olympics Multi View channel 151 on Dish. I don’t remember which channel it was but it showed last 3 hours of a 4 hour event.
