SFR AI imagining...it's fun!

Sorta fishing-related
Maybe use AI to help identify AI generated images. AI can’t lie, right? The Pluribus effect…
I have purposefully battled with AI when an unasked “question” was answered by AI I pursued it for quite awhile back and forth until I bailed and Meta AI resorted to suggesting I was unsatisfied with its strange answers. Then I researched the AI bullshits removal , which I managed to eliminate some of but it was a challenge to my persistence and my being only semi patient.I am convinced it is dangerous. Humans want to make a lot of money with it and enjoy playing a world wide game of craps.

One million years ago our ancestors learned to control fire....AI will change humanity in an even more significant way. But instead of taking 1 million years.... it will take less than ten.

But for me.. It is seriously a hoot to be able to create an image just by talking to the computer. AI is going to be a wild ride folks...Ima gunna try and have some fun wit it.

I decided to learn more about Ai a bit ago so taking some free classes through coursera and Harvard. There's lots of options for free available, but both of these i fiind informative...can recommend if you're a luddite, non tech guy like myself who just wants a better understanding of things.

I'm liking this thread. Any information is much appreciated.
I was just thinking that, there are some smaller Large Mouth Bass in Heart Lake that I like to frighten from my float tube...AI gave me this image and yes that is exactly what this lake looks like.unnamed-9.jpg

I actually asked gemini to give the fisherman force fins after it produced this image.. For me, every image is a work in progress, but the above image is pretty much what AI spit out... with just some simple sentences spoken into my computer. After spending some time, I will have gemini produce a vastly "better" rendition of this image.

No real personal skill involved . Nice key selections though. Haptic skills too. My admiration is significant but would be inappropriate to discuss further. But golly it looks like … oh! Yeah ,it is a photograph!

It's entertaining. I almost have more fun telling AI the pic is crap and that it didn't follow instructions. :ROFLMAO:

As valuable as it is...and I know it's here to stay, I have decided I'm not going to use it. I don't need it for my job and I'm not comfortable with the amount of water, power and precious metals it requires so I'm going to go on a AI fast. I'll shoot for the rest of February.
If successful, I'll shoot for March and so on.

This stuff is scary, and it might be something that most of us don't want to be forced to learn about....but come on folks...maybe we can have some fun with this stuff...Dip your toe in the water, ask gemini to create an image from your first memory of catching a fish. I double dog dare ya.

I do not use my computer anymore in the last 15 years. Retired 8 years ago. Prior to thatfor 7 years I was a sub teacher in a Highh school snd middle school. Once I quit using computers i lost those skills. I always preferred my career pre computer stuff but since the late 80’s learned a lot of graphic and design programs and others In the last 15 career years . Do what ya gotta do. This current trend i see as dangerous and the signs are all around us. Fraud and dehumanization.

Thanks for sharing Capt ... I would truly appreciate any input of images that have been inspired by this thread. I can only imagine what this could lead to. No doubt many of us have fish stories that could be illustrated (literally) with AI.
