Why the OP chose that picture, in the first place. I'm sure there are many pics of jet boats on the Yakima. The OP choose not to post that Pic on the equivalent post on "the other" fly fishing forum. So looks like OP wanted to illicit these reactions here for some reason.

OP started it, they knew what they were doing. Take the OPs pic off.
I saw it over there as well when it was first posted but I think the mods deleted the picture.
One of the local guides has been posting about it since last year, and he mentioned before that he kept seeing the same boat. So maybe this is that boat. I hadn't seen any pictures of said jet boat, until I saw the video and this picture is a screen grab from the video. There seems to be many people that don't want jet boats up there and it has nothing to do with the damn flag.
Yeah, vandalism is always a good answer. Let’s riot in the streets and burn down some buildings…as long as it‘s for what you believe in.

It works out on the OP and on the Sauk(Just ask Scott O'Donnell) it would work on the Yak and tribs..

I removed anything I saw as potentially derailing the thread. Merely commenting on the contents of the photo or saying a politicians name isn't grounds for moderation. It's an issue when we go in to full on attack mode on people or politics not related to the topic of the thread.

To be honest, if I’m running my sled totally legally up and down a flat, wide, totally safe stretch of river with not a soul in sight, and somebody is standing on the bank filming me to post on FB and totally going Karen on me, you aren’t likely to get the best most PC version of me. The truth is, it’s not illegal. I’m not sure who exactly is the asshole here, the guy running his boat or the people making judgements, talking shit and even threatening him? I’d definitely prefer there weren’t sleds on the yak but if it’s not illegal then tough fuckin titties man. Sign the petition and do what you can do. I’m all for it. BUT, The yak is not small, it’s very easily navigable, there are many sled friendly rivers that present much smaller and more challenging. Sure doesn’t seem like anyone is running their power boat through mazes of drunk tubers and acting erratically. If the video to you looks like someone’s life is in danger then you must be a boring sack of potatoes.

When he turned the sled to shoot water at the person filming that is assault, plain and simple.
If he had just gone on buy then no problem.
There is lots of rivers with unwritten rules, like the Sauk, and someone that had guided there in the past should have known better and he paid the price with 3 new tires. My friends and I all said the same thing as they came down river from up in the reservation, the locals will take care of it, and they did!

Yes those splashed were treated and authorities were called. Swat team is currently tracking the vessel in question and a barb wire decapitator is in place. All float traffic be advised of this hazard.
