Title says it all. I visited the local trout ditch & it didn't disappoint....

It may seem like it was all Short-fins all day but in reality, it was probably Redside:Short-fin = 3:1

Spending all, or as much as I can stand, if next week a bit downstream in that watershed. Plan is swinging for the fence but might need to bring some SFG gear with me given the forecast.

Tough job following up Domebrite's epic report for sure. Boneyard and a club sandwich though, two of my favorite things. Not to mention you paired it up with some hungry trout and mountain bonefish.

srsly....I actually hooked that same SFG (aka FW dolphin) a couple of times prior to actually sticking it. I came back ten min later and stuck it. based on that sample size of one, fish are dumb...like, really dumb.

agreed re: sammich's. the blessing in disguise was that FS was closed so I ended up at DM...shoulda had that in my plan from the beginning.
