Adding a scarf?

That gent has a necktie and merino or cashmere V-neck sweater underneath that tweed jacket.
I second this. Not an ascot around his neck. That jacket doesn't look like a tweed Coat. It is to smooth looking.

All you men should understand what an ascot is. After all we are men. An ascot is like a real broad tie With a diamond stick pin in it. I'll bet the women all get it.

Batman wore an ascot! The first person I thought of tho was Thurston Howell the Third. Seems to a rich man’s accessory!

I'm so fashion conscious that I constantly worry about mixing blue and green (a sight to be seen), plaids and paisley. My collection of ascots would make the real Thurston Howell cry in jealousy. As for scarves, I prefer to call them wraps, it's really just semantics, after all. I have a wonderful muted grey Untied Colors of Benetin all wool wrap that's absolutely handsome and it is really warm on a cold day when casting my bamboo rod with silk line upstream only. Then I have this wonderful imported fleece wrap, dark color, nearly black, that I wear on dreary, dark, cold days when swinging Graboids for wild ditch pickle triploids at the wonderfully remote spring creek just east of Ephrata.

The last article of clothing I bought was a hooded Poncho made of llamas' wool. I'm loving it!
