Abel No.2 (Guide Finish aka Matte Black). The reel has been used and has a few dings, rub marks, and scratches. This is still a beautiful reel that will stop anything in its tracks. I just did a complete tear down on the reel and greased and lubed everything. 100% neatsfoot on the cork and Cal’s Universal on everything else. This reel has a square tooth drag plate and can be set for left or right hand wind. It is currently configured for left hand wind. $330.
Abel No.3 (Gloss Black). This reel has been fished a bit, but is in great shape overall. The frame has a few dings and there are a few water spots. There are a few tiny touches of rust on the stainless, but nothing of any significance. I just did a complete tear down on this reel, cleaned everything, and lubed. It is ready to be fished. This is spooled with an unknown sinking line that hasn’t been inspected so consider it a bonus. This comes with an Abel pouch that works, but isn’t perfect. The reel has a sawtooth drag plate and is set for right hand wind. This cannot be changed without a new drag plate. $335.
