NFR A Walk

My partner needed a hill climb, I needed time outdoors. We went to a not too far away favorite place for day hikes. The ticks were out and the poison oak was already starting to bloom.







The variations of each of the three members of the Iris family ( tenax, douglas, and chrysophyla) present is fascinating.












The reward was worth the risk.

I actually love the smell of poison oak in bloom, the bees love it too.
