Woke up this morning to two inches of new snow, so after my morning tea I headed out to shovel off the driveway and sidewalks. By the time I had finished the sun was out and we had a beautiful blue sky. By noon the air temp was almost 40 so I figured it would be a good time to hit the river. Got there around12:30 and was able to fish for a little over two hours before the wind came up and made it feel cold again. The fish were cooperative with six to the net and a few missed takes. Great day to be outside.
