
Took my Granger 8642 bamboo 5 weight through the forest to a foothills lake today. Nice to walk through the shaded woods with temps in the 60's...

Beautiful purple flowers on the boggy edges of the lake.

And enough thick shouldered cutts to keep things interesting.

There was no hot fly so I rang the changes...Dandy Green Nymph, Self Bodied carey, Olive Carey, Black Carey. Even caught a few on a pheasant tail teeny nymph.

Mr Beaver can have his lake back till next spring...
