I'm not sure why you would consult a realtor in this situation. Good luck. I hope that you made the right choice.

Pittsburgh is a cool town. The steelhead deal is a bit overated. Small streams, cold water, nymphing. Lake Ontario tribs have browns too. Can be crowded but smaller tribs will give up some fish. Cold weather fishing.
The warmwater fishing can be excellent in that region. Smallmouth bass are an amazing sportfish. Pike in the spring if you have any sort of boat is fun.
PA troutfishing can be excellent. The craziest hatch that I have ever fished was the green drake hatch on Pine Creek. That's a ways from Pitt. as I recall.
W.Va is right there. I'd bet that there is some fun squighly line brook trout fishing to be had.

3% is like free money. I would not sell but rent the house let another pay down the mortgage. Treat nurse school and an apartment there like sending your kid to college. It's a few years and goes by quick.
 
Sorry we did not get our planned bread baking get together. It always seems like there is plenty of time until all of a sudden there isn't. Funny how that works.

That's looking good, Gary. The pod is better quality than the wood ones UHaul uses. Looks like there's even spots for load locks and tie downs.

And, good luck on the job offer. Educators are hard to find these days.

If all goes the way it should with the job offer, I'll be taking some time out of the classroom and returning to my lab scientist roots 🤞
After a decade of teaching I'm ready for a bit of a break and working a predictable 40 hr/week job will be immensely helpful while my wife goes through her intense schooling. Depending on how I feel I may or may not return to the classroom in the future.

I hear there's one of two streams that hold a few trouts. We'll see what we can find

Just because I'm leaving the region doesn't mean I'm leaving the community!
