A dandy brookie on a dandy green nymph.

Took my Winston 8'6" 4 & 3/8's ounce 6 weight bamboo rod to a pond where Enos Bradner once caught a 3 pound 12 ounce brookie. I fished a Dandy Green Nymph in honor of Enos. The 8'6" Winston is a casting machine.



Cold windy weather. Only one fish to the net but it was a dandy. No sign of the cutts which get stocked annually.



An aeropress coffee warmup with lunch.



Arrived in rain and left in rain but still a good day to be alive.

Looks like it was worth the effort in the rain, nice fish! what raft were you floating in?

I took out my OSG Commander. Knew it would be cold and rainy so wanted to sit higher in the water than would be the case with the wilderness lite.
