I know the Author and what he has been through. His words:
I am not a pastor, a therapist, or a scholar. I don’t have a string of letters after my name, and I sure don't have all the answers. But I know what the woodchipper feels like."
It’s been a long, hard road to get here. After losing my wife of 23 years, packing up my life, and moving two thousand miles to Michigan to navigate a wifeless house with my son Daniel, I didn't find comfort in polished clichés or sanitized theology. I found it in the raw, gritty reality of the dirt.
That’s why I am incredibly proud to finally announce my new book: In the Dirt with the Master Builder.
📖

This isn't a book about getting "over" grief. It’s a survival guide for those still bleeding in their Sunday best. Written through the haze of front-porch cigar smoke and the adrenaline of 300-foot roller coaster drops, this book is about the hard-fought lessons of survival:
• The Permanent Limp: Why healing doesn't mean returning to who you were but embracing the blessing in the dislocation.
• The Anchor Chain: Dropping the dead weight of survivor's guilt.
• Friendly Fire: Surviving the well-meaning but hollow platitudes of the church lobby.
• The Theology of the Lift Hill: Finding God's presence in the noise, the grit, and the heavy metal breakdowns of life.
This is a battle cry for the misfits, the outcasts, and the brokenhearted. It’s an invitation to stop faking "fine," wash off the sad clown makeup, and trust the Master Builder who is renovating your soul from the ruins up.
Grab a cup of coffee, light up a cigar, and pull up a chair. You aren't walking through this valley alone. I'm leaving the light on for you.

I need to read this book, I’m going through some of the hardest chapters of my life……but the biggest surprise about this thread is JudyM is a man?? Still all good!👍 Or…is Ryan Pultz possibly be your pen name??

I am defiantly a woman, old one at that. Ryan was a neighbor, longtime friends with both Ryan and his heavenly wife.

Big time senior moment JudyM…..sorry for my confusion. My old brain has been on overload for sometime now. Actually what a relief! So glad that’s cleared up. Back to our regular programming.

I lost my dad when I was 15. Took a long time to deal with it, really I just kept busy at school and then work. When I turned 40 I started to visit him regularly. Still do! Time doesnt heal wounds, but makes it easier to deal with. I seem to lose friends in 3s now. Lost a few dear friends, or found out about them early this year. Still have most of there numbers in my phone. It can still be sad to scroll through my contacts and see so many that have passed. The main reason I live day by day I guess! YOLO! Do what you want today, you just never know how many you have left! Peace and love ❤️!
