4 minutes per fish round 2

Found a pretty little campsite next to a high mountain stream with what else, more wildflowers.

We celebrated both my wife’s birthday, as well as our 37th Anniversary on this trip.

Back down to lower elevation desert. Lots of variety in the Paintbrush, and another great campsite with an awesome sunset.ADF7742F-7CC6-4AAE-A61E-3D659306DD7B.jpegB54A02B3-D83A-40A0-9184-3BAA1FD7BB84.jpeg198BB4C8-69CE-4C6A-B8B8-A8150A61A4FE.jpeg

Oh yeah, two nights back I mentioned we’d camped next to a little creek. There was a nice pool next to camp so I strung up the old 7’6” FE Thomas bamboo hoping for a native Snake River Cutthroat or two. I strung up, crawled/snuck within range, made two drifts through and caught a Nice little…. brookie.

So there ya’ go! Four minutes per fish! We packed up and headed for home and called the circuitous trip a great success!
