2026 Swap and Shop

I can do a large amount of potatoes, onions, and kielbasa. I'll bring a two burner camp chef stove and some cast iron pans.

I'd be interested in trading something for a griddle that's made to fit across one or both burners of that camp chef stove.

Things have been super busy for me so I haven't had too much time to do a whole lot of extra stuff like planning on this particular event. I'm going to get to it soon, though.

It'll be like last year where we put a page on our online store to purchase camping spots at the group site. We'll also probably figure out a way to share costs on the group meals and come up with a plan there.

Hopefully turn out is strong, but we'll have a good time either way. It's 90% about hanging out and enjoying good foods, 5% swapping gear, 5% getting on the water (for those who went out... I stayed back to hold down the fort).

Sorry, brain isn't ready this. What exact day and where is the swap?

As of now I'm thinking of going and my wife my come with me. I'll do my big flat tops and do work on it (breakfast and dinner).

Last weekend in May. Lots of time to get the details hammered out.

And like I said, you're more than welcome to come and eat food made by others. Unless cooking would be therapeutic for you.

I can absolutely help out with a group meal. I’ve got a 14” Dutchy and a 14” skillet. I could also bring my turkey deep fryer and make a pot of curry or something similar.

I just booked my “car and truck” reservation in the group site.

I will be bringing to “trade” *

Rods, reels, rod carriers, a 23Zero car awning & 8’x8’ “room” (tent) (and table and cot), a trailer hitch mount cargo carrier, an electric trolling motor, batteries, Garmin fish finder setup, and a host of other things I need to get rid of.

* prices start at “I want to get rid of it” and will drop over the course of the weekend to “I am getting rid of almost everything I own, seriously just take this stuff I’m not taking it home from Mayfield.”

And, if anyone’s interested, I will also happily long-term loan (1 year minimum, possibly longer) my canoe and paddles and Yakima racks and Yakima canoe carrier. Take it home from Mayfield and enjoy it. Hell, you can start borrowing it while we are there.

I will also be permanently loaning out (aka giving away) my 12’ rod vault that holds 4 Spey rods or 6+ sh rods fully rigged.

Hmm...trying to figure out which of us will have more stuff!

I reserved a spot for my truck. As I recall, the spaces are generous, so I'm happy to share if we run out of spaces to register.
