So, I was itching to go fishing and it worked out that my sure had recovered enough to go on our yearly May Okanogan trip, not too be confused with those other guys "Spring Fling" (@Roper , @Scott Salzer , @Tim L , @Islander , @Buzzy ). I know we passed each other on the road going between lake. And Roper stopped by camp one day, sorry I missed you all. Well except maybe @Scott Salzer
Anyway, I hadn't fished since October so was really jonesing to go! The plan was almost a month trip, coming home just before Memorial Day.

We fish several of the lakes on the west side of the Okanogan river and then moved to the east side for different lakes. We have several on both sides that we always fish and then try a couple new ones, exploreing is good!

The weather was a bit different this year, cooler, wetter and bit more windy and we actually had a lite snow a couple of days.
A big part of this trip is how beautiful the area is and watching the flowers that come with spring.

The fishing is the main reason for being there, spending time with my brothers is a blessing!

The aquatic life in a couple lakes was amazing with some shocking size of scuds (cocktail shrimp).

Now back home with a lot of catch up work!
(To many photos for just this post, love the area!)
