SOLD - 2019 Stealthcraft Hooligan (1-2 man) - $2000.00 , $1800.00 - SOLD (Pick Up Only - Seattle)
This is a great little raft and I've had had it for about 2 years. It's small enough to throw on top of my Toyota Sequoia, smaller SUV or the bed of a pickup. It's about 10 feet but it's super stable and can carry two big guys if needed. I'm about 275 and I have taken a buddy who is probably 225 with no issues at all. It's got a drop-stitch floor so it's stable when standing up. I can stand and fish from it with no problem. The floor is not self-bailing. The frame has an internal anchor system and a rod storage tube. I have never used the tube but it can be bolted on if desired. I have added two swivel seats and 4 RailBlaza rod holders making this a comfy fishing machine. The rod holders will work with spin and fly reels. I have also added a small wood plate to the back end of the rack for an electric motor mount but can easily be taken off. The boat cruises very nicely with a 40lb Thrust Motor but could go bigger if needed.
The raft is in good shape overall but the back rack does have some paint damage/wear and tear. The frame also has some minor paint damage here and there. I thought about stripping the back rack down to the aluminum but I'd rather the new owner decide if it makes sense. The raft itself is airtight (no leaks) and it's in good shape with just the usual surface scratches and wear expected on a river raft. This a a heavy duty tough raft that can take some abuse if needed. It's just a scaled down version of typical fly fishing river rafts.
Stealthcraft is a great company and I thought about sending the frame in to have it repainted or an alternative would be to have it powder coated locally. But, I have been happy with it as is so not anything that is really needed other than in terms of cosmetics.
The best thing about this raft is how easy it is to transport. You can throw it in the back of a truck, on top of an SUV or easily put it on a raft trailer. I can load the raft onto my SUV by myself. Takes a little technique, but doable. I have loved everything about this raft and it hurts to sell but I mainly fish lakes and I recently bought a little 12 foot Lund that is better suited for me. The raft is very stable and it tracks really nicely under power or oar. So, if you need something that's easy to transport for rivers and/or lakes, this is a great raft.
The boat comes with rod holders, anchor, 2 swivel seats, 2-piece Sawyer Oars, NRS pump and hand bailing pump (never used it). I've got some tie down straps as well if needed. In other words, it's 100% ready to fish. You just need fishing gear and a cooler of "beverages" and you're all set. The raft and frame can break down and fit into a large bag for longer hauls if needed though I've never tried that before.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I'm in the West Seattle area and more than happy to have you come by and take a look. I'm posting it here first to see if there is any interest. If not, off to local online selling sites and FB Markerplace it goes.
** I forgot to take a photo of the anchor but it's a tornado style plate anchor. Hold the raft easily. **
