NFR 1/2 “ Marine Grade Plywood

I wonder if any one in the Soith End, near Burien may have a scrap piece of marine grade 1/2” laying around?

I have a repair I am making in my travel trailer, the cabinets got some water damage and the bottom 4 inches was saturated and delaminating. Trying to patch in a piece near the floor, ( more like hack)

my source for marine plywood in Bend has a large scrap pile of finished wood saw cuts that customers are welcome to go through for free...might check your local as well.

Think about regular plywood as well. It is all made with waterproof glue nowadays and you could easily/cheaply patch with it.

Yeah, probably get an easier match to what's there. I could also seal the end that is near the floor. With that in mind, I may leave a little gap so it doesn't touch the floor.

Avoid using OSB (oriented strand board). It has issues with absorbing water in the end-grain. A good, sloppy seal is a good idea. Careful matching the size, a lot of board is thinner than its nominal size. A 32nd less is common. If it is hidden/structural, it won't matter.
