Back in the early 2000's I spent a few days with Glen Overton. He cooked some great meals and I rowed him down the Koot. He gave me that tube of WW, said it was the last one he had. Since then I believe his son has started to make it again.

Working on fishing flys for next year. This is a Wulff style hair wing fly I call "Abby Fly". The dubbing came from my long gone Golden Retrievers undercoat.

Did a 14lb brisket yesterday. Came our great!

Hit the Joe on Monday. I had my best day on the river fish wise after fishing it for over 20 years. Fish were looking up and as long as you had a hair wing fly or a EHC on it worked. I'll go back next week but with the change in weather I don't expect the same results.

Was camping on the Selway last week. Made a full pan of stir fry on my cast iron wok and another evening did pulled pork enchiladas in the #10 Dutch Oven. Good eating.

I used mine this morning to fry sliced potato's for breakfast (plus bacon and eggs). I have a few pans that used daily and Dutch Ovens that get used when I go camping.

I've fished a lot of those higher lakes in years past, never saw a Brookie. The mention of Zeke's brought back a mess of good memories. Thanks for sharing!
